Are you ready to move from just getting by financially in your private practice to truly thriving?
You’ve worked hard to complete your education, honed your clinical skills, and even started your own private practice! You’re an achiever, and you’re proud of how far you’ve come.

But when it comes to money, it’s a whole different story. Managing money is stressful and overwhelming. Every time you try to look, your numbers seem all tied up in knots.
It just feels like a giant, tangled mess.
And if you’re being honest, you’re not really looking at the numbers. The idea of sitting down to figure out your finances feels overwhelming, so you just avoid it. You tell youself you’ll deal with it later, but later never seems to come.

It’s easier to just ignore money, stick your head in the sand, and hope that it all just works out at the end of each month.
I want you to know it’s not your fault that you don’t know how to manage private practice finances
…and yet, your confusion and lack of knowledge are holding you back from growing your business and your financial life.
You end up treading water, unable to make strategic financial decisions in your practice and at home. You find yourself thinking:
    or
It’s so common to just try to work more and more,  and feel like you can’t give up a single client session (even when you need to for your own health or sanity!)
And even if you do earn that money, you don’t end up feeling better.

You dance with burnout, and the money just disappears. Or it sits untouched in your bank account because you’re too scared to know what to do with it.
    If you find yourself…
    You are not alone.
The problem isn’t just earning money…
it’s having the skills to know what to do with it.
    Here’s the good news:
    Money skills are totally learnable!

Just like learning all the techniques you use to help your clients, you can also learn how to make money work for you.

You can stop giving all your energy to your work, and seeing more and more clients. You can actually keep your energy to live your life.

You can be the one running your business,
rather than your business running you.

You’ve proven yourself to be incredibly intelligent and competent in so many areas of life. I know you can make money work for you too.

All it takes is a financial framework that fits who you are, what you need, and the way you think. Paired with the right support, you can work through your stories and relationship with money. You can get your brain into a state of learning and growth. Most financial experts miss this.

Money isn’t just about numbers, it’s deeply emotional too. That’s why learning how to understand and manage money requires more than just spreadsheets.

It takes an approach that both practical and emotional.

    Hi, I'm Linzy

I’m an experienced trauma therapist turned money coach.

I worked at a community agency for 2 years before feeling overworked and underpaid. Then, I opened my private practice in 2014.

I loved it! I was finally feeling fulfilled and in control of my work.

But soon, I found myself spending more than I was getting paid. Before long, I started to feel like an overworked and underpaid therapist… again.

It hit me: I had no idea how to manage the business side of my private practice! And now, I didn’t have anyone to rely on but myself.
    The stakes were high:
    • I was the only income earner for our family of 3
    • We had no health benefits or pension plan
    • We had just lost 60% of our household income

I needed to start treating my private practice like a real business. But when I dug into what was available online for private practice finances, resources were sparse.

Luckily, I’m the daughter of an accountant. I inherited a bookkeeping brain! So I rolled up my sleeves and got to work building the system and knowledge I so needed.

I figured out how to make my business take care of me.
Now, money goes as far as I need it to…without stressing out, overspending, or spreading myself too thin.

This is what I want for you.

With the right mindset, skills, and systems, success is so much more than balanced books!

You can make money work for you and build a thriving private practice, free from burnout, guilt, and shame.
Unlike many financial professionals who can be hard to understand and overlook the emotional side of money, I’m approachable and empathetic.

I make it easy to talk about money.
“I wanted to let you know how grateful I am that I’ve gotten to learn from Linzy. She has such a strong but gentle spirit that comes out in the work that she does.

I’ve changed and done more as a business woman this year than in all my prior years in practice.

I feel so much more empowered to create the money story I want since doing Money Skills.”

“I’ve done a lot of expensive programs. I’ve hired a lot of contractors. I’ve never gotten more value out of any of those things than I did out of working with Linzy. I could start any business now, doing anything, and it would be so much easier.

You also realize what’s important. My free time is really valuable, so I work three days a week and take one week off a month. I got two massages last month. And my business supports that.

It really made a humongous difference. I can’t thank Linzy enough for what she did, how much she tolerated, and just in general how clear, well put together, organized, and over-the-top ready to deal with these things she came to the table as.

At every step of the way, I knew I made the right decision to work with Linzy.

How much money have you lost over the years avoiding your finances or making costly mistakes?
Remember Sam? When Sam started, she had no savings and $20,000 of credit card debt.

But when she committed to herself and her plan, she paid off all of that debt and saved $10,000 for her maternity leave!

The most incredible part of Sam’s story is that she did all this in ONE year — without increasing her income.

Investing in this work made her $30,000 in just one year.

    Stories
    from Our Community
There’s so much shame and silence around money. But in Money Skills For Therapists, we create a safe and supportive environment to have the honest discussions we need.
“They provided me with a space to feel validated, supported, guided, have things clarified, share my insights and compassion, and breathe! I knew I wasn’t alone… I am far less avoidant – I’m able to update my spreadsheet with little to no activation.

And with this new awareness of the reality of my finances, I can be more mindful about my expenditures next year…in advance!!

I also no longer have to think about what and how I can “save up” for quarterly taxes and monthly business expenses because I have everything automated using Relay and Profit First.”

“The Teachable content was extremely helpful, and I appreciate that we have lifetime access as I know I will (a) need reminders on some concepts/processes and (b) it allowed me to not stress about getting to the extra content while working through the course. It’s such a user-friendly platform.

The group coaching and Get Shit Done calls were also a major highlight, and they were even more useful as I made my way through the course and actually started to come with questions!

It’s amazing how much having just 10 minutes to get a question answered or have someone look at my numbers can do – like I didn’t actually have to spin my wheels by myself!”
